Printimate™ Enterprise Production Server |
|

The Printimate™ Enterprise Production Server is designed to automate and
optimize print/document management and workflow processes. The production server
can manage multiple print jobs to multiple printers or PDF archive/spool files.
The production server requires at least one licensed installed instance of
Printimate™, and can be manually managed, either locally or remotely, by a print
administrator. Alternately the server can be configured to process jobs
automatically in a lights-out environment. In such an environment, jobs are
processed based on user defined business rules. Business rules are created
automatically when the job is setup initially but can be modified at any time.
The production server supports email notification of user selected events such
as error conditions, print job completion among others. The production server
also provides real time performance, metrics logging, job logging, and history
logs. The print administrator or authorized user can manage the production
workflow by modifying a job’s priority, or changing its status from ‘released’
to ‘hold’, all with the click of a mouse. |
